Therese DeSaulnier pursued her love of art at Bradford College a small Liberal Arts school about 35 miles outside of Boston. After graduation she pursued a career in journalism, which moved her throughout the state.

    After settling in Western Mass, to raise her family Therese discovered painting. Her education in watercolor began with Sister Marie Nace at the Art of Color Studio, in the Indian Orchard Mill. In 2004, Therese was chosen, by the Massachusetts Arts Council, to be the Artist in Residence, to Hampden Wilbraham Regional School District.

    Her work has been exhibited in numerous shows and now hangs in homes and businesses throughout the United States. Therese has illustrated several children’s books and was her work was recently highlighted in an author’s series for the city of Springfield.

    Her pieces are available for sale from her Blue Dog Arts studio located at the Indian Orchard Mills in Springfield, Massachusetts.

    She currently combines her love of art and dedication to children by teaching art to elementary students.
